There must be some kind of baby boom going on because I’ve been working with mostly new babies over the last couple months. I was getting into the groove until this past week when I was outside again with some older kids. It was fun to change it up a bit. I’ll post some of those shots next week.

Here’s my latest little friend. Mom and Dad thought they were going to get lots of sleepy baby pictures…well, sleep was not really on the agenda that day! Not to worry, I love awake babies too!

There’s been so much going on this summer that I’ve sadly neglected the blog.  I wanted to pop in a share a little of what we’ve been up to though.

This is my new best friend Maeve and her little brother Ross. They were both equally adorable + delightful. Super funny and smart! I found myself offering to baby sit if they should ever need someone! We had so much in common. She likes Elmo and like Elmo. She likes to talk on the phone and I like to talk on the phone. She likes cake and I like cake. I fell even more in love when her mom emailed me this…

“And wanted to tell you that you made quite the impression on Maeve.  On Saturday she was telling me who she loved, and “Kath-lin” was 4th on the list!  Ha – I thought that was hilarious!  She asked if you were “comin over to pay with me?””

I’ll come over and play anytime Maeve!

It’s so hard to remember what life was like before I had children or what it was like when we had our first baby. It seem like a million years ago. Meeting this lovely family reminded me of that time and I was so impressed at how put together they are. They seem like they have it all figured out. I could tell that they’re cherishing every moment with their sweet baby girl. Lucky baby!

Isn’t he the cutest little guy?! I get to meet the coolest people on my photo adventures and this Rocky River family was no exception. I’ve had the best sessions lately. Lots of new beautiful babies so I’m trying to get back on this blogging ball here so I can share some!
