Chicago Family

I have roots in Chicago so I have lots of family there. My Uncle and four Cousins came to visit us here for a long weekend. After Cedar Point, the Crushers game, Bridgestone to see Tiger and the Hard Rock Café. I think I sent them home needing another vacation! NO rest for the weary. My cousin Mathew just graduated high school and got an academic scholarship to Northwestern University! Such a smarty pants! Playtime is over but what a great time we had. I’m so proud of all of you. Love you guys!

Like Kids in a Candy Store

Literally kids in a candy store. How these two sweet girls showed so much restraint with all that candy I’ll never know. I recently spent the day in Vermilion, Ohio photographing these two beautiful babes. After going to Brummer’s Chocolates (who has THE best chocolate by the way) and hanging out in town we hit the beach to cool off. Summertime! Got to love it.

A Little Greek Baby

Isn’t he a total doll (or a koukla as we say in Greek)! This little guy just got back from spending the summer in Crete, Greece (his Dad’s home town). He’s so young to be a world traveler. His Mom said that he did great on the trip. What a trooper!

A Professional Honor

When local fellow photographer, Julie Walborn of Visage Portrait Design called ME to photograph HER family, well, I couldn’t have been more honored (and a little nervous quite honestly). I’ve been a huge fan of Julie’s for many years and I love her work! No pressure right? After one rainout we finally got the gang together for their FIRST family photo ever. Yes, their first! You know what they say about the cobbler’s son. The same holds true for photographers. I can’t say that I’m much better about it. Thanks for calling me Julie!

Could they BE any cuter…??

I don’t think so! Look at those big eyes. I love this age and she was such a little sweetheart.

I’ve skipped a bunch of sneak peeks because I’m so far behind on everything. I’m sorry if I owe you proofs! They’re coming! I swear!
